AUZEF 2024 Year-End Evaluation Meeting Held
Istanbul University Faculty of Open and Distance Education (AUZEF) held the 2024 evaluation meeting under the leadership of Dean Prof. Dr. Levent ŞAHİN.
The meeting was attended by the top management of the faculty and all staff.
In the first part of the meeting, Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Musa ŞAHİN evaluated the 2024 activities of the curriculum management, video content production, and content design units, which he is responsible for. Following him, Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin ÜNVER provided information on the development work carried out and the exams conducted in the measurement-evaluation and test development units throughout 2024.
The newly appointed Vice Deans, Prof. Dr. Rabia Nergiz DAĞOĞLU SAKİN and Asst. Prof. Dr. Süleyman TÜRKOĞLU, also introduced themselves to the faculty staff and shared their thoughts and feelings about the new term.
In the highly emotional second part of the meeting, plaques were presented to the past administrators. After presenting plaques to Murat Selim Değirmenci, Tunahan Hilmi Maden, and Dr. Ali İhsan Balcı, a plaque, flowers, and a commemorative photo were presented to Asst. Prof. Dr. Üyesi Hayrettin EVİRGEN, one of the past Vice Deans, by our Dean Prof. Dr. Levent ŞAHİN.
In the final part of the meeting, Şahin listed the goals for the 2025 vision. These include completing the Z-book project, increasing the number of exam centers, initiating human-artificial intelligence compatible projects, completing international quality certification processes, launching projects that will contribute nationally and internationally, and opening new programs.
