The Health Institutions Management Associate Degree Program affiliated with AUZEF is a two-year distance education associate degree program.

Program Objective;

The aim of the program is to train professional human resources in all areas related to the management and operation of all kinds of health institutions, the definition of Turkey's healthcare infrastructure, and its development. In addition, it is aimed for students to evaluate the information they have acquired from basic theoretical courses supported by textbooks, application tools, and other resources containing up-to-date information in the field of Health Institutions Management in a professional manner and apply it, inform relevant individuals and institutions, and acquire the skill to express their thoughts and solution proposals in writing and orally on issues related to Health Institutions Management.

 

DETAILED INFORMATION

With the Health Institutions Management Associate Degree Program, students are provided with:

  • The ability to use theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in the field of health institutions management,
  • The ability to understand international concepts used in the healthcare sector, interpret changing data, evaluate them, and develop quick solution proposals,
  • The acquisition of effective use of information and communication technologies skills is aimed.

 

 

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Registration with YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam)
    • You can make a choice for the program after taking the YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam). If you are placed in our faculty by OSYM, you will have the right to register.
  • Registration with Horizontal Transfer Exam
    • Students who want to register with a horizontal transfer to our faculty must meet the required conditions and apply. For horizontal transfer announcements and applications, you can follow the address https://ogrenci.istanbul.edu.tr.
  • Registration with International Student Exam (YÖS)

  • Registration without Examination within the Scope of Second University
    • To register for the program, you must meet the necessary requirements and apply to the faculty. COURSES AND COURSE MATERIALS

The Health Institutions Management Associate Degree Program consists of mandatory courses in various areas such as General Economics, Medical Documentation, Medical Terminology, Procurement and Materials Management, Health Services Marketing, and Cost Accounting in Health Enterprises. The most significant feature of the program is that all course materials are prepared with the e-learning method. The Instructional System Platform has been organized to meet all needs, and course notes, presentations, videos, and advanced instructional materials prepared for Phase 2 are loaded into the system for the student to work comfortably, and there are no printed materials available. EXAMS AND ASSESSMENT

Exam Implementation Method
Exams are held face-to-face with supervision, with at least one midterm exam, one semester/year-end final exam, and a makeup exam for each course every year/semester. The rules to be applied in the exams are determined with the approval of the Faculty Board and announced to the students.

Regarding Exam Applications
Exams held by our faculty are generally conducted in multiple-choice test format. Twenty questions are asked for each course, and students are given 30 minutes to solve the questions.

GRADUATION

  •  To take the necessary credit/ECTS amount as decided by the Faculty Board and to successfully complete it,
  •  Not to have an FF letter grade in any course,
  •  To have a general grade point average (GPA) of 2.00 or above,
  •  To take all compulsory courses for all terms.

    • Warning: The Faculty Board may increase the number of ECTS credits.
