JUSTICE
The Justice Program, affiliated with AUZEF, is a two-year open education associate degree program.
Purpose of the Program;
The aim is to train qualified and professional intermediate staff who will help to create the law and justice system, which aims to solve problems that have permeated every area of society and individual life, in a timely and healthy manner. Nowadays, the increasing demand for qualified labor in the justice sector has made it compulsory to train intermediate staff with basic legal knowledge who will be employed in public and private institutions. A legal and justice schema created by intermediate staff equipped with high-level features of their profession and capable of solving problems will make the solution of legal problems in our country easier and contribute to the realization of justice. In this context, Istanbul University's Open and Distance Learning Faculty of Justice Associate Degree Program will contribute to the smooth and complete execution of justice services; with graduates equipped with theoretical knowledge and skilled in practice, it will lead to the distribution of justice to every individual in our country without interruption and quickly.
DETAILED INFORMATION
With the Justice Associate Degree Program, students have the opportunity to:- Develop their knowledge and skills by following basic knowledge courses related to different areas of law and justice,
- The program aims to impart skills to be professionally ready for the business world, equipped with competence and equipment.
- In the program, students will prepare for the profession by taking courses focusing on subjects such as Constitutional Law, Obligations Law, Civil Law, Commercial Law, Criminal Law, as well as various software used in law offices, UYAP, office management, and accounting.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
- Registration with YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam) You can choose this program after participating in YKS. You will gain the right to register if you are placed in our faculty by ÖSYM.
- Registration Without Exam Under the Second University Program You need to meet the required conditions and apply to the faculty to register for the program. You can apply for the program if you are studying or have graduated from any undergraduate/associate degree program.

COURSES AND COURSE MATERIALS
The Justice Associate Degree Program consists of compulsory courses on areas such as Constitutional Law, Civil Law, Basic Law, and special provisions of Criminal Law. The main feature of the program is that all course materials are prepared using the e-learning method.
The Teaching System Platform is organized to meet all needs and includes Phase 2 contents prepared as course notes, presentations, videos, and advanced teaching materials. The curriculum is prepared in line with national education policy goals. The courses have been selected by the experienced academic staff of Istanbul University's Faculty of Law.

EXAMS AND ASSESSMENT
GRADUATION
- Complete the required credit/ECTS amount as determined by the Faculty Board,
- Not have any courses with an "FF" grade,
- Have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00 or above,
- Take and complete all compulsory courses for all terms.
Note: The number of ECTS credits can be increased by decision of the Faculty Board.

Graduates of the Justice Associate Degree Program can work in:
- Law offices,
- Other institutions in the field of law,
- Legal departments of commercial enterprises,
Banking and other financial institutions as specialists or legal affairs office managers.
