HEALTH MANAGEMENT UNDERGRADUATE COMPLETION

 

 

The Health Management Program affiliated with AUZEF is a distance education undergraduate completion program.

Purpose of the Program:

The aim of the program is to educate professional personnel in all fields related to the management and operation of all types of healthcare institutions, the definition and improvement of Turkey's healthcare infrastructure.

 

DETAILED INFORMATION

With the Health Management Undergraduate Completion Program, students are provided with:

  • Identifying, defining, and solving problems in healthcare institutions.
  • Applying appropriate analytical and modeling techniques for this purpose.
  • Choosing modern techniques and tools required for healthcare management applications, effectively using information technology.
  • Adhering to professional ethics and legal principles.
  • Acquiring the skills to be a role model to professional colleagues and set an example for the community with their professional identity.

 

 

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

  • Enrollment through Health Bachelor's Completion
    • To enroll in the program, you must apply to YÖK (Higher Education Council). If you are placed by YÖK to our faculty, you will have the right to enroll. For detailed information, you can follow the relevant announcements and guides at https://www.yok.gov.tr/.
  • Enrollment through DGS
    • To enroll in the program, you can make a choice after taking the DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam). If you are placed by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center) to our faculty, you will have the right to enroll.

 

COURSES AND COURSE MATERIALS

The Health Management Undergraduate Completion Program consists of compulsory courses in various areas such as Public Finance, First Aid, Management and Organization in Healthcare Institutions, Management of Emergency Services, Healthcare Communication, Strategic Management in Healthcare Enterprises, and Risk Management in Healthcare Enterprises. The program's biggest feature is that all course materials are prepared using the e-learning method. The Instructional System Platform has been organized to meet all needs, and for the convenience of students, course notes, presentations, videos, and advanced teaching materials for Phase 2 have been uploaded to the system. EXAMS AND ASSESSMENT

Exam Application Method
Exams are held in a supervised face-to-face format at least once per year/semester for each course, including a midterm, end-of-semester/year final exam, and a makeup exam. The rules for exams are determined with the approval of the Faculty Board and are announced to the students.

Regarding Exam Procedures
Exams held by our Faculty are generally in the form of multiple-choice tests. Twenty questions are asked for each course, and students are given 30 minutes to answer the questions.

GRADUATION

  •  Successfully complete the required credit/ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits as determined by the Faculty Board,
  •  Do not have an "FF" letter grade in any course,
  •  Have a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 2.00 or higher,
  •  Complete all compulsory courses for all semesters.
  • Complete elective courses according to group rules. (This applies to students admitted before the 2017-2018 academic year.)
Note: The Faculty Board may increase the number of ECTS credits as per their decision.
