Business Administration Distance Education

 

 

Purpose of the Program:
To produce knowledge for economic and social analysis with universal research reflecting different views within the framework of contemporary principles and theories and to educate individuals with critical and creative thinking on these foundations. Throughout the 4-year education process, the program will provide students with the ability to acquire knowledge about the economic and social environment, to have the skills to distinguish their functions and benefits, to understand and express basic economic models analytically, and to deduce tracking from the main outlines of the models to the details.

 

DETAILED INFORMATION

With the Business Administration Bachelor's Program;

  • Providing the ability to work effectively by carrying professional and ethical responsibility, taking responsibility, having self-confidence and initiative, prioritizing cooperation within teamwork, internalizing the idea that the whole of life is a learning process,
  • Gaining the ability to follow scientific developments and renew oneself continuously, effectively using the Turkish language, having at least one foreign language knowledge for research, being able to solve basic economic and social problems, and having the ability to analyze with detailed techniques,
  • Being proficient in quantitative methods, logical reasoning processes, and modeling techniques, grasping basic concepts in social sciences, mastering the relationships between concepts in detail,
  • The aim is to provide skills to evaluate the knowledge gained during the education process with cause-and-effect relationships; to be able to understand where, when, and why any knowledge will be needed, to reconcile economic and social phenomena with theories in the field; the ability to follow the functioning of relationships between people and societies.

 

 

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

The Business Administration Distance Education undergraduate program within our faculty is closed. New students will not be admitted to the program.

 

COURSES AND COURSE MATERIALS

The Business Administration Bachelor's Program consists of compulsory courses in areas such as Business Administration, Social Policy, Microeconomics, Statistics, Labor Economics, Public Finance, Financial Accounting, Turkish Economic History, Tourism Management, Financial Analysis, Money Theory and Policy, Principles of Marketing, and Management and Organization. The unique feature of the program is that all course materials are prepared by e-learning methods. The Instructional System Platform has been organized to meet all needs, and course notes, presentations, videos, and Phase 2 materials prepared as advanced teaching materials have been uploaded to the system, and there are no printed materials available. EXAMS AND ASSESSMENT

Exam Implementation Method
Exams are conducted face-to-face with supervision, including at least one midterm, one end-of-term/year exam, and a makeup exam for each course every year/semester. The rules to be applied in the exams are determined with the approval of the Faculty Board and announced to the students.

About Exam Applications
Exams carried out by our faculty are generally in multiple-choice test format. 20 questions are asked for each course, and 30 minutes are given for the solution of the questions.

GRADUATION

  • By taking the required credit/ECTS amount as required by the Faculty Board Decision and successfully completing,
  • Not having a letter grade of FF in any course,
  • Having a general grade point average of 2.00 and above (GPA),
  • Completing all compulsory courses for all semesters.
  • Completing elective courses according to group rules. (Valid for those who entered the program before the 2017-2018 academic year.)

    • Warning: The ECTS numbers can be increased by the Faculty Board Decision.

Graduates of the Business Administration Bachelor's Program;

  • In various stages of economic life,
  • As a researcher and practitioner in public and private institutions (tax inspector, marketer, planner, analyst, specialist, inspector, etc.),
  • In all sectors of the private sector, including the banking and finance sector, they can work as experts, auditors, and senior managers.
